Terms and Conditions for Job-Oriented Placement Assistance at VSEL

Every LEARNER enrolled in VSEL’s Data Science or related programs is eligible for placement assistance and scholarships upon fulfilling the following conditions:

Eligibility for Scholarship

1. Attendance: The LEARNER must have at least 80% attendance in the online course sessions.
2. Performance: The LEARNER must score a minimum of 75% overall in the module-based performance tests conducted by VSEL.
3. Training Duration: The LEARNER must complete a mandatory six-month training period in the course module.
4. Additional Requirements: The LEARNER must meet all eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms & Conditions for career services.

Conditions for Career Services Eligibility

1. Degree Requirement: The LEARNER must possess a recognized university degree before completing the course.
2. Language Proficiency: The LEARNER must be fluent in written and spoken English.
3. Work Permissions: The LEARNER is responsible for obtaining any legal permissions required to work in India.
4. Completion of Stage 1: The LEARNER must complete Stage 1 of the course without freezing or obtaining extensions.
5. Attendance and Performance: The LEARNER must:some text
   • Maintain a minimum of 80% attendance.
   • Score at least 75% overall across all course modules.
6. Capstone Project and Viva: The LEARNER must:some text
   • Complete the capstone project between the 6th and 8th month without extensions.
   • Score at least 80% in the viva and mock interviews.
7. Project Management: The LEARNER is responsible for managing and submitting assignments related to research projects within agreed timelines.
8. CAP Program Completion: The LEARNER must achieve 80% in the CAP program, which includes assessments and capstone projects.

Mock Interview and Scholarship Eligibility

1. If the LEARNER fails to meet the required KPI metrics in mock interviews, they will not be eligible for real-time interviews or scholarships.
2. VSEL will provide up to 15 interview opportunities in the Data Science/Analyst/Associate fields. However, VSEL is not liable if any of the companies do not proceed with the candidate.
3. VSEL has no influence over the final compensation/salary package or the specific job role/designation, which will be mutually agreed upon between the LEARNER and the hiring company.

Job Offer & Qualifying Position

1. If a LEARNER secures a job offer from a company not referred by VSEL, this still qualifies as a "qualifying position."
2. VSEL will provide support and guidance to help the LEARNER secure a job offer.

Scholarship and Award Amount

1. The scholarship amount or gift awarded will be at the sole discretion of VSEL. The LEARNER cannot challenge the amount or nature of the scholarship awarded.
2. LEARNERS are expected to apply for suitable positions and have reasonable expectations based on their skillsets and background.
