About Power Bi Masterclass
This 5-week Power BI masterclass is a comprehensive program that aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the software and its capabilities. The class is divided into three weeks, starting with introduction to the interface and tools of Power BI, then moving on to advanced visualizations and data analysis techniques, and ending with creating interactive dashboards and reports.
The course will be hands-on and interactive, allowing students to apply their knowledge through exercises and real-world projects. The class will be led by an expert instructor who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the course. The class is updated to reflect latest features and best practices in Power BI. It is important to note that the course outline may be adjusted based on the students' proficiency level and needs.

Week 0: Prepwork
To prepare for the Masterclass, you will be asked to do the following:
Use existing materials and basic case studies to get ready
Read various Power-Bi web 101 books
Connect with other cohort mates through the Masterclass Discord channel
Partner with a classmate to form a team for coding reviews during the Masterclass.

Introduction to Power BI (Data Sourcing and Storage)
Introduction to Tool Usage
Revision of SQL (RDBMS, Techniques used to make relations in BI, Views, Use Integration of Excel Functions and Data Cleansing Process
Week 2:
Importance of Data Modelling in Visualization and Normalization
Relationship Cardinality
Hierarchy, Custom Column, Measure and Table

Per week you will go through 3 live sessions by our mentors & 3 days you will be learning within the cohort. Our aim in the masterclass is to provide education and connect you with a supportive group of peers from around the country. In addition to the cohort schedule, we recommend setting aside 3-4 hours each week to complete any assignments from class.
